Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the OpenClaw Gmail integration accesses and uses Google user data. The integration is a private tool operated by the account owner for personal use.

Information accessed

The integration requests read-only access to Gmail. This may include email messages, message metadata, labels, and mailbox settings needed to search, retrieve, and summarize email at the account owner’s request.

How information is used

Google user data is used only to perform actions the account owner requests, such as finding recent messages, locating correspondence, or summarizing selected email. The integration does not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Sharing and sale

Google user data is not sold. It is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Processing is limited to the private services needed to operate the account owner’s OpenClaw system.

Storage and protection

Authorization credentials are stored on the account owner’s private server. Email content may be processed temporarily when responding to a request. The integration is configured for read-only access and cannot send, modify, or delete Gmail messages.

Retention and deletion

The integration does not maintain a separate public email database. Any locally saved output is controlled by the account owner. Access can be removed at any time by revoking the app in Google Account settings or deleting its credentials from the private server.

Your choices

The account owner may review or revoke access at any time through the Google Account connections page. Revoking access prevents future Gmail API requests until authorization is granted again.
